With Totem, you'll finally see how long I really am!

Sorry for going to town on the sofa that one time. I just can't help scratching. Totem looks nice and sturdy. That rope is very tempting for my claws. I also love that this scratching post is tall enough for me to stretch out completely. My back could really use some stretch, after all. And if I wear this scratching post out, you can simply order a new rope. You call that sustainable, I call that fun! Go ahead and pick a nice colour.

Strong, stable and suitable for every cat

Totem can safely be called the rock in the surf among scratching posts. This scratching post is ultra-sturdy for intensive use by your cat(s). Whether you have an energetic teenager or a powerful Maine Coon at home: with Totem, your cat can really let loose. At a height of 110 cm, even large cats can fully stretch out. Cats love to stretch! Totem's design is extremely stable. However busy your cat gets with scratching, Totem stays firmly in place.

1.1 metres tall Extra thick sisal

Totem stands strong for years

Totem is designed to stand in your home for years to come. Besides a sturdy wooden construction, this scratching post has an extra-thick rope. This sisal rope is built to last. Eventually the rope will wear out, but then you won't need to replace the entire scratching post. At Hoopo, you simply buy a new sisal rope, so your cat can enjoy Totem all over again! Totem is available in various colours, so you can match the scratching post perfectly to your interior.

We've been using the products and service with our 15 cats for as long as Hoopo has existed. For example the climbing post: our Maine Coons literally climb up it and the post stays firmly in place. A really great company.

I'm really very happy with Hoopo. As a breeder, you often try out different items. I have also bought other items for our cats, including design litter boxes, mini donuts and a Totem scratching post. Completely satisfied with everything, and so are the cats.

Involved with our cattery right from the start, super satisfied with all the products from toys, but especially the tofu. I also include it in our kitten packs, along with some toys and scratching posts & scratching cardboards.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the Totem

totemzwart FAQ mobiletotemzwart FAQ
I have three cats. Is Rope strong enough?

I have several cats at home. Is Totem sturdy enough?

I have a big Siberian tomcat. Is Totem big enough for him?

Totem is definitely big enough! The scratching post is designed so that every cat can stretch out nicely.

I just bought the Totem scratching post, but my cat still scratches the sofa. Why is that?

Sometimes your cat still needs to learn that they're only allowed to scratch on the scratching post. In that case, don't punish your cat, but pick them up from the sofa and place them by the scratching post. This way they'll learn where they can and can't scratch.
